October for the 47th annual Convention of the Clipperton DX Club

G - MX0SQC is the callsign for members of the Polish Amateur Radio
Group in the UK (M0SQC) to celebrate their 10th anniversary from 28

HZ - HZ96ND, 7Z96ND and 8Z96ND are the special callsigns for the Saudi
Amateur Radio Society (HZ1SAR) to celebrate Saudi National Day on
13-23 September. Based on the number of lunar years, Saudi National
Day commemorates the renaming of the Kingdom of Nejd and Hejaz to
the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (23 September 1932).
National societies from Gulf Cooperation Council's neighbouring
countries which are expected to join the celebrations include the
Bahrain Amateur Radio Society as A91ARS (17-23 September) and the
Kuwait Amateur Radio Society as 9K9KSA (19-25 September).
I - IZ1CCK, the Italian Army's Taurinense Alpine Brigade station, will
be active on 18-20 September during the 28th reunion of the 1st Al-
pini Grouping in the city of Pinerolo (Torino). This will be a
public demonstration of amateur radio activities on 40, 20 and 15

from the Arroyo de la Cruz on 26 September. They will operate SSB
and FT8 on the HF bands from the premises of the Grupo Scout Aero-

OA - Active throughout September, the special callsign OC100ISL marks
the 100th anniversary since the inauguration of the Peruvian Navy's
base on San Lorenzo Island (SA-052). Amateur radio operations from
the island are planned for 25-27 September only; at other times the
callsign is operated on various bands and modes from mainland Peru.
PJ2 - Randy, K5SL will be active holiday style as PJ2/K5SL from Curacao
(SA-099) on 18-26 September. He will operate only CW on 40-17 me-

SP - HF26WBC is the special callsign to be active on 17-25 September
during the 26th World Hot Air Balloon Championship taking place in

VK - John, VK1AX is now active from Deal Island (OC-195) through late
