9L - The Radio Club de Provins (F6KOP) will be active as 9L5A from Sierra Leone from 27 November to 8 December. Plans are for a large team (F1DHX, F1ULQ, F2DX, F4AZF, F4FET, F4HAU, F4HHL, F4HRG, F5AGB, F5NTZ, F8AAN, F8EFU, F8GGV/YU3FX, HB9GWJ and ON7RN) to operate CW, SSB, RTTY and FT8 (MSHV) on 160-6 metres with six stations, as well as via QO-100 with a dedicated stations, with a focus on "human modes" (CW and SSB). GM - Erik, PA1ET will be active as MM/PA1ET/p from the Isle of Canna, the westernmost of the Small Isles archipelago, in the Scottish Inner Hebrides (EU-008), on 8-11 November. He plans to operate QRP on 40 and/or 20 metres.
KH2 - Robert, N2OEF will be active as KH2/N2OEF from Guam (OC-026) on 6-13 November. The "primary focus of this trip will be activating parks for the Parks on the Air (POTA) program", he says. PA - The YNOMY DX Group will be active as PA44PARK on 8-10 November. Main activity is expected to take place from Duinen Goeree & Kwade Hoek (WWFF PAFF-0155) on Goeree-Overflakkee (IOTA EU-146), but they might also be QRV from Kop van Schouwen (PAFF-0113) on Schouwen-Duiveland (EU-146) or Voornes Duin (PAFF-0156, not IOTA). PY - ZV2RB is a special callsign for the Liga de Amadores Brasileiros de Radio Emissao (LABRE) to celebrate Brazilian Amateur Radio Day (5 November). Look for activity on all bands and modes, and via satellite, on 3-10 November. QSL via LoTW. A certificate will be available, see https://www.qrz.com/db/ZV2RB for information. 5 November 1924 is when Decree no. 16657 was signed, regulating amateur radio in Brazil.
V3 - Tom, AK2G will be active as V31TL from Belize between 5 and 14 November. First (5-8 November) he will be QRV mainly from POTA sites BZ-0057 (Altun Ha Archeological Reserve) and BZ-0067 (Community Baboon Sanctuary); then (10-14 November) he "will be on the ocean and heading to BZ-0075 (Half Moon Caye Marine Reserve) and possibly BZ-0072 (Turneffe Atoll Marine Reserve). V4 - Once again John, W5JON will be active as V47JA from St. Kitts (NA-104) on 6-15 November. He will operate SSB and FT8 on various bands. QSL via LoTW, or direct only to W5JON.
W - "Weather permitting, and assuming no flight cancellation", Will, WC6DX will be active from San Nicolas Island (NA-066) on 8-12 November. Look for WC6DX (neither /p, nor /6) to operate "primarily SSB, but I can go to CW if condx deteriorate" on 40-6 metres. He will not use FT8 or any digital mode. QSL instructions for direct cards will be posted on Will's QRZ.com page after the operation: "paper QSL cards only", he says, "please don't ask about Club Log or LoTW matching; an island activated after 50 years deserves a paper card. I will automatically send QSL cards via the bureau to all DX stations who do not request a direct card, so you can keep your money". San Nicolas (CA-009S for the US Islands Awards Program (https://usislands.org/) is the most remote and rarest Californian island, due to its status as a sensitive US Naval facility. The only documented operation was by two California amateurs who were active as WZ6SNI for Armed Forces Day, May 1971.
