7O - Ken, LA7GIA and Shani, HA5DDX will be active as 7O8AD and 7O8AE, respectively, from Dihamri (grid LK72cq), Socotra Island (AF-028), Yemen on 3-16 November. It will be a tent and generator operation; plans are to have up to three stations QRV on 160-10m, running 100 watts (no amplifiers due to weight restrictions) into verticals and VDAs close to salt water. 7O8AE will operate SSB, while 7O8AD will operate CW and some "SO2R light" FT8 (using WSJT-X F/H or MHSV - never on standard frequency). 9L - Shabu, M0KRI will be active as 9L5M from Freetown, Sierra Leone from 24 November to 5 December [425DXN 1695]. Sadly his QSL manager (Fred Curtis, G3SVK) passed away last week, and a new QSL route will be announced in due course.
FG - Vaclav, OK6RA will be active holiday style as FG/OK6RA from Guadeloupe (NA-102) on 8-27 November. He will operate CW, SSB and FT8 on 40-10 metres (maybe also on 6m), with main activity during the CQ WW DX CW Contest (SOSB 15m). QSL via home call. [TNX NG3K]
HB9 - HB8DELOY is the special callsign for members of the Swiss Air Force Museum's Radio Club (HB4FR) to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the first transatlantic amateur two-way contact between Leon Deloy, F8AB and Fred Schnell, 1MO (28 November 1923). Look for activity from 1 November to 31 December. QSL via HB9ACA (bureau preferred).
HK - Celebrating the 90th anniversary of the Liga Colombiana de Radio-aficionados, eleven special callsigns will be in use on 18-19 November: 5K0LR, 5K1LR, 5K2LR, 5K3LR, 5K4LR, 5K5LR, 5K6LR, 5K7LR, 5K8LR, 5K9LR and 5J3L (YL operators). KL - Team KL7RRC (Alex KL5CX, Yuri N3QQ and Tim NL8F) will be active from St. Paul, Pribilof Islands (NA-028) on 7-15 December. PY - ZZ2RB is the special callsign for the Liga de Amadores Brasileiros de Radio Emissao (LABRE) to celebrate Brazilian Radioamateur Day on 4-11 November. QSL via LoTW. The Dia do Radioamador Brasileiro marks the anniversary of the entry into force of the first Brazilian Amateur Radio regulations (5 November 1924).
PY0T - Team PR0T is now expected to be QRV from Trindade Island (SA-010) [425DXN 1693] on 16-19 November. V6 - Cezar, VE3LYC has been in Weno since 28 October, but as of 3 November the situation was still very fluid and he did not yet have a fixed schedule for his trip ("it is like a puzzle in which several pieces must come together nicely", he says). His current tentative plan is:
