3C - Ersoy, TA2OM has been active as 3C/TA2OM from Malabo, Bioko Island
(AF-010), Equatorial Guinea since 19 September. He expects to stay
there for one month, "maybe two". During his limited spare time he
can operate FT8 and SSB on the HF bands. He has applied for a local
callsign.
5R - Francesco, IK6QON will be active holiday style as 5R8FG from Nosy
Be (AF-057), Nosy Iranja (AF-057) and the city of Antsiranana in
the northern part of the main island of Madagascar (AF-013) between
8 and 17 October. He will operate CW and SSB on the HF bands. QSL

9J - Eddy, OE3SEU has been travelling through Africa in his motorhome
since early June. After being in South Africa (ZS/OE3SEU), he is
now in Namibia (V5/OE3SEU), and expects to be active as 9J2SEU from
Zambia sometime in October. Activity will be on the QO-100 satel-

ing on 23 September [425DXN 1636]. Hurricane conditions are possi-
ble, and tropical storm conditions are expected, on Bermuda by late
22 September, which will cause operations to be delayed probably
until 25 September.
ZL - ZL75WARC is the special callsign for the Whangarei Amateur Radio
Club (ZL1AM) to celebrate its 75th anniversary from 1 October to 31
